Very obvious Beatles influence but hey, Elephant 6 pulled it off by making it theirs. Alon Eder did the same thing in a completely different way, instead of messy hazy indie this is bluesy, jazzy, soulful, and just fun. This album has super tight, balanced arrangements of strings, brass, great percussion...they got chops. Oh and the melodies are catchy as fuck. I feel like a lot of international music that filters into the mainstream is Eurovision-y and turns people off, this is a whole different animal. I wish there was a super-dig, this is my favorite find since I joined this site.
